When I called Rep. Perlmutter’s office, I was told that he has no townhall meetings planned or scheduled for the August recess.
However, on Sat., Aug. 8, he will be holding a “Government in the Grocery” from 1 to 3 p.m. at the King Soopers at 500 Bromley Lane in Brighton. This is not a townhall meeting. Individuals can sign up on a first-come, first-serve basis to talk to him one on one for about five minutes.
In addition, on Tues., Aug. 11, he will be at an Enterprise Wheat Ridge meeting where he will be speaking. The meeting, which is scheduled from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., will be held at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center, 4005 Kipling St. The cost is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. You can make your reservation here.
AUG. 7 UPDATE: According to the Events page on his website, Rep. Perlmutter and Rep. Polis (Boulder) will be holding a housing fair at 8: 00 a.m. at the Maragaret Capenter Recreation Center, 11151 Colorado Boulevard, Thornton. (That’s the day the Recess Rally is scheduled.)
